The Marin Alpine Trail E is the bike you grab when the plan is big climbs and bigger descents. 170mm up front, 160mm out back, a mullet wheel setup and a full-power Bosch Performance Line CX motor — this is Marin's most capable eMTB, built to point straight down everything the North Shore throws at it. Where a lighter eMTB asks you to pick your lines, the Alpine Trail E just monsters them.

More Laps, Less Hike-a-Bike

The big Bosch battery is good for roughly 25 to 90km depending on terrain and how hard you lean on the motor — plenty for a full day lapping Fromme, Seymour or Cypress without rationing your assist. Climb the road, session the tech, climb back up, repeat.

Full-Power Climbing, Proper Descending

The Performance Line CX puts torque on tap for the steepest, most awkward climbs, then gets out of the way when you tip into the descent. Long travel, burly suspension, four-piston brakes and grippy rubber mean you ride it like the enduro bike it is — not a gentle e-cruiser.

What's Included with Every Rental

Every Alpine Trail E rental includes a tubeless setup, a OneUp Components package with pedals, multi-tool and spare tube, and a helmet. The bike turns up fully charged and dialed to your fit, ready to ride.

Your rental fee is credited toward the purchase of a new Marin bike. Essential Cycles is an authorized Marin dealer in North Vancouver — so if the Alpine Trail E wins you over on the trail, we'll put the rental toward your own.
