Fleet Bikes
Our rental and demo bikes live on North Shore trails — Fromme, Seymour, Cypress. They're ridden hard and serviced properly. When they cycle out of the fleet, they come here. Full-suspension mountain bikes, gravel, and the occasional eMTB. These aren't mystery bikes — ask us anything about a specific listing.
New, Discounted
Last-year models, a colorway that didn't sell through, or an order that came in at the wrong time. New and unridden with full manufacturer warranty — just at a price that reflects reality. These don't last and we don't restock them. Check back, or ask us what's coming.
Customer Bikes
We take bikes on consignment — but only bikes that have been serviced at Essential Cycles. That's not a gatekeeping thing, it's a guarantee thing. If it's come through our workshop, we know its condition, we've seen its wear, and we can stand behind the listing. Customer-owned and priced by the owner, but vetted by us. Want to consign yours? Wheelsets
Fleet & Shop Wheels
Wheelsets that have come off rental bikes, demo bikes, or through the shop. Some are we pulled in favour of an upgrade, some cycled out with the bike they came on. Inspected for bearing condition, spoke tension, rim wear, and hub function before they go up.
New, Discounted
New wheelsets — discontinued colorways, last-year spec, overstock. Full warranty. This is where to check if you're planning a wheel upgrade and happy to be a little flexible on spec. We carry NOBL, We Are One, and a range of stock wheelsets — clearance stock varies.
Wheelset availability is unpredictable — turnover is quick and we don't always know what's coming in next. If you're after something specific, reach out and we'll let you know if something matching comes through. We also build custom wheels — see our Custom Wheel Builds page.
Parts & Components
Shop Pull-Offs
Parts removed from bikes that came through the shop — upgrades, build changes, display components retired from the floor. Forks, shocks, drivetrains, droppers, cockpit parts. Functional and priced accordingly. Ask us about specific service history where we have it.
New, Below Retail
New components that need to move — discontinued SKUs, overstock, last-year spec. Full warranty. Good place to check if you're building or upgrading and aren't married to current-year parts. Suspension, drivetrain, and accessories come through here regularly.
Stock changes constantly and isn't predictable. If you're hunting for something specific — a particular fork, a dropper in a certain length, a specific groupset — let us know and we'll keep an eye out.
