The Marin Rift Zone EL1 is one of the most capable lightweight eMTBs available for rent on the North Shore. Powered by Bosch's Performance Line SX motor — one of the lightest full-assist drive units on the market — it delivers a natural, responsive power feel that doesn't telegraph "electric." Marzocchi Bomber suspension front and rear, TRP 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, and Maxxis Minion/Forekaster rubber mean this bike is built for actual trail riding, not just fire roads.
More Laps, Less Hike-a-Bike: The 400Wh internal battery delivers 25 to 90km of range depending on terrain and assist level — enough for a full day on Mount Fromme or Seymour without worrying about running dry.

Every Rift Zone EL1 rental from Essential Cycles includes a tubeless setup, a OneUp Components package with pedals, multi-tool, and spare tube, and a helmet. The bike is fully charged and ready to ride when you arrive.
