We’ve taken the already-capable Marin Rift Zone XR and given it the full Essential Cycles treatment. These two custom builds are designed for fast, flowy descents and technical trail riding — with upgraded components chosen for performance and reliability. Think playful pop meets serious capability, wrapped in a trail bike platform that punches way above its weight.

Playful, Capable, and Built to Shred

The Rift Zone XR is Marin’s most aggressive take on a trail bike — low-slung, slack, and responsive. The 27.5" wheels make it extra lively on tight trails and jumpy lines, while the longer 150mm fork and dialed geometry let you push hard through the tech. We’ve spec’d it with Fox suspension, Shimano XT brakes, WTB tires, and a carbon crankset to keep things light and fast. All rolling on a proven set of Stan’s Flow wheels — strong, reliable, and tubeless-ready.
