The Platform: The Alpine Trail E frame does the heavy lifting here. Series 4 alloy, 150mm MultiTrac suspension, integrated 630Wh battery, and the Shimano EP8 motor — 250W, 85Nm of torque — make this an absolute weapon on the North Shore and beyond. The EP8 is smooth, natural-feeling, and reliable. The battery will get you where you're going.

The Build: Everything that touches you or the trail has been upgraded:

• Brakes: Shimano SLX hydraulic disc — a massive step up, with the power and modulation to match the terrain
