As with all courses, we hope to teach you the reasoning behind the methods allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the "why" rather than just the "how."

Wheel Building 101 & 102

This instructional offering will answer these questions and more! Learn how to build strong and durable wheels with master wheelbuilder niceguy geoff as he walks you through his personal methods developed over decades of practice and thousands of wheels built.

Wheelbuilding 101 is intended as a stand-alone course in which we will walk through the lacing, tensioning and truing of one wheel. If you would like to build a pair of wheels, Wheelbuilding 102 is offered as a follow up lesson in which the second wheel will be built. This night will also include some more advanced ideas and techniques aimed at increasing your understanding of wheel building.

We are happy to facilitate components for this or you are welcome to BYO parts.  Please ensure this is done in advanced.

Tubeless Setup

Learn how to change a tire, retape your rim and set your tires up tubeless.

Tape and sealant included in the cost.  If you need valves or fresh rubber this is an additional cost (or BYO)  We're offering 30% off Maxxis tires for all participants and discounted sundries.

Trailside Repairs

When things go wrong on the side of the trail, would you know what to do?  Do you have the right tools in your pack to get yourself or your friend rolling again, so you at the very least, can get out.

You'll spend the evening going over common repairs you may need to perform on the side of the trail and how to perform them.  Like all our courses this is hands on and we recommend bringing your own bike.
